NO. NO. NO. NO.

Not all men cheat. And we seem to constantly forget that women cheat as well, quite often. Why why why do we always have to make men out to be the scumbags of the universe?

This is such a frustrating stereotype. This “well, he IS a guy” ideology is so, so damaging to anyone that identifies as male AND also makes others grow up to think poorly of men, without even really knowing why.

When a couple breaks up, people, by default, think the dude did something. What… women don’t fuck up? Only men are capable of being insensitive to their partners?

Let’s call this as it ACTUALLY is in real life. Anybody can cheat, no matter what, for different reasons. No person is inherently a scumbag, and labeling them and generalizing as such reflects poorly on them when, in the first place, they may have done absolutely nothing wrong.

In actuality, this entire thing reflects poorly on society (big surprise!) and which behaviours we associate with what gender. So let’s start telling these stereotypes to GTFO!
