Wonder what it’s like to live on $1.50 a day?

From CARE:

“Have you ever wondered what it’s like to live on $1.50 a day?

Thousands of people across the United States, and tens of thousands across the world, will be asking themselves this question as they take action to raise awareness about global poverty by living on the equivalent of the extreme poverty line for five days.

From May 7-11, CARE is partnering with Live Below the Line – a campaign that’s changing the way people think about poverty by challenging individuals to live on $1.50 a day for food and drink for five days.

This is the reality for the 1.4 billion people who have no choice but to survive on this amount every day, for everything.

Will you join us?

You can learn more about the campaign and sign-up to support CARE’s efforts poverty-fighting efforts through Live Below the Line by visiting www.livebelowtheline.com/us-care.

Change your perceptions about poverty, encourage your friends and family to take part and, most of all, make a difference! It will be an experience you’ll never forget.

Sincerely,
The CARE Action Network”
